Kids/Family Class  
Monday & Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 PM 
This class is designed for children (ages 5-11), and parents who want to workout together as a family (if the the child is 4-years old, please see the instructor to evaluate their ability). The curriculum includes: calisthenics, stretching, and other warm-up exercises, followed by core development, punching, striking, blocking and kicking techniques.  After that, a different area of focus will be selected each class, such as break-falls, hip kick drills, rolling, falling, jumping kicks, step-sparring, balance and skill building games and activities. Adult students, 12 and up, are encouraged to participate in both kids, family and adult classes for additional practice at no extra cost.

6th Dan Black Belt

Mr. Nathan Summers is a 6th degree black belt and Master Instructor and is responsible for the day-to-day class instruction. He was certified through Peace Officers Standard and Training (POST) as a Defensive Tactics and Impact Weapons Instructor.  

Nathan is also Cooper Trained(TM) in personal training education and is working toward his certification as a personal trainer.

As with all of the Instructors in the Intermountain Hapkido alliance, Nathan is first aid, cpr, & aed certified through the american heart association.
